ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS/ REQUISITOS DE ELEGIBILIDAD
- Be 18 or older. If you are 16 or 17, please contact the ELL office to discuss class options.
- Be a Maryland resident.
- Access to the internet and a computer (desktop, laptop, or Chromebook).
- Take the English reading assessment if needed.
*F1 and J1 visa holders are not eligible for English Basic Skills classes. We encourage students to take our English for Academic Purposes or Interactive English classes. For more information, please contact the ELL office at 410-777-2901 or esloffice@aacc.edu.
How to register for your class / Cómo registrarse para su clase:
- Click on EBS-XXX ESL Integrated Skills under Courses.
- Select a class section under Enroll Now.
- Click Add to Cart & Checkout when you are done.
- Create an account or login to complete your registration.

If you have previously taken classes at AACC, you will need to log in using your AACC account. New students will be able to create a temporary account in the checkout process. If you forgot or don't know your MyAACC username and password, please contact the Technical Support Center at 410-777-4357 for assistance. For questions about how to use the noncredit registration portal or to check on your enrollment status, please contact the Response Center at 410-777-2325.
Note: You can request an interpreter when calling the Technical Support Center, ELL office, and Response Center.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KEEP IN MIND/ INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE A TENER EN CUENTA
- Select classes that best work with your schedule. Make sure to review the class section schedule, type, time, Schedule (View Details), and instructor carefully.
- If you need any accommodations during class, please contact the DSS office (dss@aacc.edu) at least 10 days before the start day of your class.
- The ELL office cannot guarantee space in classes. A limited number of spots are available in each class and registration forms will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If you register for an online class, you can find the Zoom link by visiting your course page in CANVAS. Please refer to the student handbook that was given to you by the ELL office.
- If you have previously taken classes at AACC, the registration confirmation email will be sent to your college email address.
