Course Description

Learn about and discuss current best practices, advances in research and available resources to advance suicide prevention efforts in our county and across the state. Network and collaborate with other attendees and diverse community partners. CEUs issued. 

Learner Outcomes

Describe the role of protective factors in suicide prevention; Implement skills for engaging in suicide prevention efforts in populations with increased risk; Recognize the importance of promoting hope in suicide prevention activities and practices; Recognize available suicide prevention resources; Implement suicide prevention best-practices; Define how they are able to engage in suicide prevention.
