Learn beginning-level English language skills in reading, listening, speaking and writing. Use English for school, community, work, digital and civic contexts.

Learner Outcomes

Recognize the meaning of words encountered through short aural and written passages using a limited set of strategies. Identify, with support, a main point from an aural or written passage. Communicate, with support, feelings and information about routine subjects and events related to life, work, and education. Present information in simple dialogs. Name symbols related to U.S. civics, careers, and community.
