This workshop is designed for all instructors who work with diverse students. Participants leave with a greater understanding of how cognitive load theory can support more equitable and effective teaching practices. Come ready to explore stereotype threat and the social dynamics that influence students (especially Hispanic students and those from minority groups) belonging and academic identity.
