Learner Outcomes

Describe the process of bending conduit, equipment selection, tool usage, threading and cutting, and reaming; Explain the selection criteria and installation consideration for raceway and wireway wiring systems with reference to the National Electric Code (NEC); Classify and describe the selection and installation of conductors based on wire size, insulation and application; Interpret drawings and NEC requirements to conduct load calculations and identify grounding specifications, wiring, circuit branching, and switch and receptacle installation in residential systems; Describe and select appropriate test equipment for various applications including voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters with reference to equipment safety hazards.
