Course Description

Carnival Games Dealer | Learn the fundamentals of three card poker, four card poker, ultimate Texas Hold 'em, Mississippi stud, casino war, and criss cross poker. Review table layout, chip handling and game procedures. Practice hands-on techniques to deal and control the game. Discuss the importance of good customer service. CEUs issued. $452 includes $20 fee. Prerequisite: COO-366 Introduction to Casino Games, GAM-300 ACT 1 Blackjack Dealer or current dealer license. Note: Students must wear a white, button-down shirt, black dress pants and black closed-toe shoes.

Learner Outcomes

Identify proper procedures for Carnival Games play; Demonstrate knowledge of the rules and procedures for dealing Carnival Games; Demonstrate customer service skills; Demonstrate knowledge of the game and chip control procedures; Apply appropriate game protection procedures.

Passing grade in COO-366 Intro to Casino Games or GAM-300 Act 1 Blackjack Dealer or current gaming license, obtained from the MLGCA, and a current casino ID from which you are employed.
