Demonstrate a broad understanding on working on or near energized electrical equipment as explained by OSHA and NFPA 70E; Identify and analyze circuit problems that can cause equipment damage; Identify the basic types of solid-state relays and indicate their characteristics in comparison to electromechanical relays; Describe and demonstrate the basic operation and uses for counters; Recognize and explain why full-voltage starting methods are not suitable for all motor applications.
