Learner Outcomes

Describe the different grant proposal formats for corporations, foundations and state and federal government agencies; Demonstrate the ability to write the history and major accomplishments, the management and evaluation plan sections of a grant proposal; Write the current programs and activities, defining the target population, detailing the partnerships, reporting on the needs statement and the program design section of a grant proposal; Discuss the necessary steps required in the development of the budget section of a grant proposal with emphasis on budget line items; Evaluate and critique the entire grant proposal package from the potential donor/underwriter's point of view.
