Writing About Your Life | Explore how to recover and record life experiences for inclusion in personal journals, short stories and memoirs, whether intended for personal satisfaction or for an audience of relatives and friends. $33+ includes $32 fee. Note: Requires membership in Peer Learning Partnership (PLP). Biannual membership is $30.

Learner Outcomes

Examine Beethoven's life and the forces that motivated him; Examine Beethoven in a historical and cultural context by discussing Napoleon, the Enlightenment, family structure, the politics of the day, and the place of the artist in society during his lifetime; Describe key stylistic traits of Beethoven's music in musical terms; Analyze how specific music examples represent Beethoven's stylistic periods and the genres in which he worked.
