Course Description

Learn current educational practices and issues of concern to early childhood educators. Topics include observation of instruction delivery in an educational setting, roles and responsibilities of the teacher and translating observation into effective teaching and classroom management practices.

Analyze observations of youth, teachers, instruction and programs in an educational setting; Explain the roles and responsibilities of the teacher; Identify common adaptations in instruction necessary to meet the diverse needs of youth; Translate observations into effective teaching and management practices.
