Course Description

Drawing 2 Examine the theories, techniques, terminologies and media used in drawing still life, landscape and figure drawings from observation and imagination. Explore approaches using wet and dry media. CEUs issued. $412 includes $40 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Identify and practice using wet and dry media using various drawing instruments to mark paper or another two-dimensional medium; Review and demonstrate an understanding of drawing composition by speaking about your composition to the class; Describe and discuss the fundamental elements and principles of art and design and their integral relationship to the drawing process; Develop and create work that demonstrates technical proficiency with emphasis on process, refined craftsmanship and communicating an idea visually; Discuss and apply the fundamental elements and principles of art and design and how they translate into their choice of materials to express issues such as content and subject matter.
