Course Description

Science Stew | Discover what mixing ingredients, adding heat and chemistry all have in common. Investigate the science behind shrinking potions, glowing slime and more. $205 + includes $37 fee. Note: This is a Kids in College course. Check section notes for age requirements.

Learner Outcomes

Use curiosity and observation to explore how the world works through simple hands-on science activities; Practice teamwork, sharing ideas and communicating discoveries with others; Discover how materials can change when mixed, heated, or combined; Explore forces such as push, pull and magnetism through play and experimentation; Observe and describe patterns in nature, weather and everyday phenomena.

Notices

If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites. Drop forms not received within the time period required above will be processed, but no refund will be issued.
