Course Description

Professional Yoga Instruction: 200 RYT Learn to teach special populations, including prenatal students and students with physical limitations. Research the benefits of teaching restorative yoga. Explore the business aspects of teaching workshops and studio ownership. CEUs awarded.

Learner Outcomes

Describe the symbolism of the various deities and explain who Shankacharya is and why he is important in the Yoga tradition; Demonstrate knowledge of the five Sri Vidya Dharmas and how one could apply them in life; Recognize and articulate the relevance of the teachings in selected Upanishads, the five Sri Vidya Dharmas, and how the Mahabharata is relevant today in our own lives and in the world at large; Define chakras, gunas, vayus, nadis and koshas; Explain the Vedantic concept of the mind.
