Course Description

iPhone iOS 18: The Latest Changes and AI Updates | Explore the new features added to the latest release of iOS 18 software in a friendly, supportive setting. Discuss security, privacy, health and safety enhancements, organization of photos, new Siri capabilities and AI driven improvements. Note: This course designed for senior citizens aims to empower seniors to understand the latest iOS 18 updates and AI changes. Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

Identify five updated features of the iOS 18 software release and describe their capabilities and improvements; Experiment with  iOS 18’s advanced security and privacy features that protect personal data and device access and practice locking and hiding one application; Discover three new ways to organize, search, and share photos and customize the home screen; Practice new capabilities of Siri, navigate with Maps, set reminders, create calendar events, and manage digital payments with Wallet app; Customize two accessibility settings to enhance usability and discuss the new eye tracking feature of iOS 18.
