American Legacy Families: Heritage, Influence and Impact Across Generations | Explore the impact of Americas legacy families, from the Adamses to the Rockefellers, the Roosevelts to the Bushes. Analyze the wealth, political power, cultural innovation and social movements shaped by familial networks. Gain insight into American legacy families and their genealogy, political dynasties, industrialists and philanthropy, cultural architects, social movements and activism, and American Family Dynasties and their impact on the world stage. Note: Senior Cycle class. Students must be 55 or older by start date to enroll.

Define the concept of legacy families within the context of American history and culture, explain the historical contributions and societal influence of prominent American families, evaluate primary and secondary sources for genealogical and historical accuracy, describe how familial networks shaped political, economic, and cultural institutions, compare influential families and analyze the reasons for their rise or fall, and define the impact of innovation of modern families based on past influences and family dynasties.
