Course Description
Cosplay: Costume Design | Become immersed in the world of costumes, character design, imagination and crafting! Learn the fundamentals of sewing and costume design, work with a variety of materials, learn about the history of cosplay and delve into developing your own cosplay! $338+ includes $55 fee. Note: This is a Kids in College course. Check section notes for age requirements.Learner Outcomes
Learn about what is cosplay, and the history of the hobby; Learn basic sewing/ alteration and how to read a pattern; Research a character to develop the character’s costume; Create a budget to cover the costs of costumes and accessories; Learn skills to implement in your own cosplays through hands on activities and mini projects.Notices
If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites.
