Course Description
Minecraft Movie Makers | Create the next popular animated Minecraft video on YouTube! Explore the process of keyframing and tweening, how to use it to bring your own animated stories to life, and how to publish your content on YouTube. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. $236+ includes $173 fee. Note: Student projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Returning students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years. Note: This is a Kids in College course. Check section notes for age requirements.Learner Outcomes
Explore the basic concepts of stop motion animation and creating a storyboard; Utilize keyframe to explore the concept of tweening and how they are used to create smooth animations; Create a scene with a camera and lighting; Explore the use of cameras to create view perspectives; Work collaboratively with a partner.Notices
If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites. Drop forms not received within the time period required above will be processed, but no refund will be issued.
