Course Description

Basic Russian | Gain an engaging introduction to the Russian language. Explore basic Russian greetings, pronunciation and vocabulary while communicating in group discussions. $103 includes $10 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Articulate at least ten basic greetings and questions in Russian and participate in role-playing activities; Identify and correctly use thirty vocabulary words related to locations, food, and directions; Practice pronunciation and repeat and respond to ten common commands during classroom drills; Pronounce, recognize, and write the thirty-three letters of the Cyrillic alphabet; Describe two cultural traditions of Russia.
