Course Description

Canva Basics: Create with Graphic Design | Explore Canva’s main features and practice using the free templates to generate print designs, greeting cards, digital presentations, social media posts and photo slide videos. Learn to access stock photos, videos and templates. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

List three main features of Canva software and practice navigating the features and editor panels on the website; Experiment with two free templates to generate print designs like posters, banners, stickers, invitations, and fliers; Design two artful posts for social media including Facebook and Instagram; Construct a print project and a greeting card using a Canva template.
