Internet Skills for Computer Shy Adults | In todays world, internet skills are essential. This beginner-friendly course helps computer-shy seniors navigate medical portals, banking, email, and more in a safe, supportive setting. Learn to stay secure online, communicate with doctors, and build confidence using everyday digital tools. Devices provided or bring your own. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

Recognize basic internet terms and list three ways online tools can enhance daily life; Practice using Chrome, Firefox, and Edge to open, close, and navigate web browsers; Identify three secure websites and learn how to avoid scams and phishing attempts; Create an email account and confidently send and receive messages; Log into a medical portal and locate personal health information online.
