Course Description

Estimating Civil and Site Work Construction | Prepare a final estimate for a civil/site work construction project including indirect costs, mark-ups, and profit. CEUs issued. $584 includes $475 fee, textbook included. Note: Online, paced course. Must be 18 or older to enroll. If you cannot attend, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than 10 calendar days prior to the course start date for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in person at one of our registration sites. Offered in partnership with Construction Experts Inc.

Learner Outcomes

Describe the project planning process and its impact on project efficiency. Define scheduled activities and assign reasonable durations. Prepare bar chart schedules, including the identification and coordination of project resources. Evaluate computerized scheduling tools, including their functions, advantages and limitations. Utilize project schedules as formal documentation for managing changes and resolving disputes.
