Learn to make simple changes to PowerPoints, Canvas pages, concept explanations, etc. in ways that help audiences better focus on what you actually want them to learn, while reducing frustration and distraction. Compare and contrast intrinsic, germane, and extraneous cognitive load.  Identify strategies for minimizing extraneous cognitive load. This workshop is not just for teachers! It's for anyone who has to present information in meetings or memos.
