Course Description

In todays polarized sociopolitical landscape, classrooms and workplace are not isolated from the tensions shaping public discourse. We are increasingly called upon to guide others through complex, often uncomfortable conversations about identity, power, justice, and current events. Review practical tools and reflective strategies for navigating difficult dialogues with confidence and care. Explore approaches for creating brave and inclusive learning spaces, practice techniques for facilitating conversations across difference, and consider how their own positionalities influence classroom dynamics. Examine real-world scenarios, share challenges and successes, and build a collective toolkit to foster deeper learning and critical thinking even when conversations become challenging.
