Closing the Relevance Gap: Helping Students See the Why | Students are more motivated and persistent when they see clear connections between course content, their career goals, and real-world applications. Explore strategies to intentionally integrate career relevance into their curriculum. Learn how the Sarbanes Center supports faculty and students through career readiness and experiential learning opportunities. Practice mapping course learning outcomes to career readiness competencies. Identify simple, adaptable assignments and activities that connect classroom learning to real-world contexts. Participants leave with actionable ideas to increase student engagement and retention through purposeful course design.
