Nail Technician: Part 1 | Discuss the importance of personal hygiene and grooming. Demonstrate standard salon safety procedures and precautions. Review bacteriology, skin and nail disorders, and diseases. Discuss tools, cosmetics, product chemistry and safety. CEUs issued. $2,337 includes $1,836 fee. Corequisite: SLN-501 Nail Technician: Part 2, SLN-502 Nail Technician Clinical: Part 1, SLN-503 Nail Technician Clinical: Part 2. Note: The four courses listed are intended to be taken concurrently.

Corequisite: SLN-500 Nail Technician: Part 1, SLN-501 Nail Technician: Part 2, SLN-502 Nail Technician Clinical: Part 1 and SLN-503 Nail Technician Clinical: Part 2. Students must register for all four courses altogether at the time of registration.

Note: Section 101 is hybrid with mandatory face-to-face meetings from 5-9:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20 at CATN. Attendance in online class sessions Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5-9:15 p.m. is mandatory for section 101.
