Apple Watch: From Novice to Pro | Discover the basic features and functionality of the Apple Watch. Discuss setup functions such as notifying 911 in the event of a fall or emergency, health activity features, and connecting with an iPhone. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.Learner Outcomes
Demonstrate the ability to set up an Apple Watch and pair it with the Watch App on an iPhone; Identify the applications that will be utilized on the Apple Watch and discuss the connection with the iPhone; Discuss how to set up the Apple Watch to notify 911 and selected contacts in the event of a fall or medical emergency; Describe and explain the calendar, ECG, heart rate, AFib detector, alarm, map and health activity features on the Apple Watch; Operate the essential control center of the Apple Watch including how to restart, restore, erase and update the settings.Loading...
