Course Description

Virtual Reality: The Future is Now | Learn the foundations of virtual reality (VR) design by creating virtual worlds, exploring simulated environments and crafting 3-D experiences. Students will take home a cardboard VR headset. Campers will need access to an Android or Apple device to use the headset at home. Campers work in teams. $236+ includes $164 fee. Note: Offered in partnership with Black Rocket Productions. Projects will be available through a password-protected Black Rocket website.

Learner Outcomes

Discuss the history of the Virtual Reality (VR) industry and its’ evolution; Learn the difference between VR and Augmented Reality (AR) while exploring different simulations and environments; Create a 360 VR experience; Test and perfect programming and logic on their own google cardboard; Create a VR ready scene and add interactivity to it; Create a website to showcase projects

If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites. Drop forms not received within the time period required above will be processed, but no refund will be issued.
