Course Description
Roblox Makers | Unlock the power of Roblox Studio. Work with a partner or team and learn how to build 3D models and create an adventure in your Roblox world. $236+ includes $173 fee. Note: Offered in partnership with Black Rocket Productions. Student-created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Note: This is a Kids in College course. Check section notes for age requirements.Learner Outcomes
Introduction to ROBLOX® Studio; Learn how to navigate a 3D space while utilizing tools to build in 3D; Create custom 3D model assets both static and mechanical (hinges, motors and more); Use the Explore to create groups and organize asset parts and scripts; Learn how to animate using keyframes and poses to create simple canned animations that an NPC character can be called to use by script; Create a design document to plan out a ROBLOX place that can be explored as it is or later used as a setting for a game; Work collaboratively with a partner.Notices
If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites.
