Course Description

Beginning Spanish 1 | Explore basic Spanish grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary while communicating in group discussions. Discuss Hispanic culture in America. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. CEUs issued. $183 includes $10 fee. Note: Basic Spanish (LAN-377) recommended.

Learner Outcomes

Identify and practice the definite and indefinite articles used to identify people and things; Review methods to form present indicative tense of regular "ar", "er", and "ir" verbs and use these verbs to describe what people do; Recognize and use interrogatives while communicating in Spanish; Recite numbers zero to thirty-one and determine the irregular verbs of the present indicative tense while communicating about a date or an appointment; Describe an overview about Hispanic Culture in America.
