Course Description

Beginning Spanish 2 | Continue building basic grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary skills. Demonstrate comprehension and oral proficiency of level-appropriate Spanish through small group conversation. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. CEUs issued. $183 includes $10 fee. Note: Beginning Spanish 1 or permission of instructor is required.

Learner Outcomes

Build upon the study of present tense verbs with irregular verbs and stem changing verbs; Differentiate and explain the contrasting uses of 'estar' and 'ser'; Examine the proper uses of preposition 'a' and 'de'; Demonstrate comprehension and oral proficiency of level appropriate Spanish through small group conversation; Discuss the culture, traditions, and history of Puerto Rico.
