Course Description

Advanced Spanish | Sharpen pronunciation and comprehension skills using expressions that can be understood easily in meetings, hotels, airports, train stations, restaurants and shops. Includes authentic coaching for international business and vacation travelers and a continuation of grammar skills using advanced verb tenses. $165 includes $10 fee. Prerequisites:LAN-395 Beginning Spanish 1, LAU-305 Beginning Spanish 2, LAN-367 Intermediate Spanish 1, LAN-373 Intermediate Spanish 2, or instructor's permission.

Learner Outcomes

Explain advanced language concepts and idioms; Use and incorporate advanced idiomatic forms into everyday conversation; Use complex sentence structures in Spanish; Use verb forms in complete sentences involving variations in numbers, person and tense; Demonstrate skills in language comprehension while discussing Spanish culture and civilization.
