Energy in Perspective | From mankind's early embrace of fire to our current energy-intense lifestyle, we follow the metrics of Professor Sir David Mackay as we plan to maintain our lifestyle in a reduced CO2 world. $23 includes a $22 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Examine the fundamental role of energy in our everyday existence; Explore past, present, and future energy needs for living, business and transportation in the world and U.S. and the relative per capita use; Evaluate the options for wind, wave, tide, solar, bio renewable power sources and nuclear power to derive an electrical power generation plan that keeps U.S. energy-based lifestyle viable; Recognize the difference in energy usage between the have countries of the world and the have-nots.
