Course Description
Lego Films and Stop Action | Create a short film with other campers that brings Lego bricks or action figures to life. $236+ includes $181 fee. Note: Students need to bring Lego bricks or action figures from home to film. Offered in partnership with Black Rocket Productions. Student-created films will be available on a password protected website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Returning students can create more advanced projects that build on previous yearsLearner Outcomes
Identify the components of storytelling, including plot structure and character creation; Create detailed character backstories that influence their actions, decisions, and relationships within the story; Learn basic cinematography techniques, including title screens and frames; Understand the role of sound in enhancing storytelling, and explore how to use music, dialogue, and sound effects to build atmosphere; Edit and integrate footage, sound, and effects to create a polished final projectNotices
If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites.
