Course Description

Lego Films and Stop Action | Create a short film with other campers that brings Lego bricks or action figures to life. $236+ includes $164 fee. Note: Students need to bring Lego bricks or action figures from home to film. Offered in partnership with Black Rocket Productions.

Learner Outcomes

Identify the components of storytelling, including plot structure and character creation; Create detailed character backstories that influence their actions, decisions, and relationships within the story; Learn basic cinematography techniques, including title screens and frames; Understand the role of sound in enhancing storytelling, and explore how to use music, dialogue, and sound effects to build atmosphere; Edit and integrate footage, sound, and effects to create a polished final project
