Course Description

CDL B with Passenger Endorsement Behind the Wheel Training | Prepare for the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration Commercial Driver’s License Class B examination and road test. Learn about speed and space management, parking and backing, and pre- and post-trip inspections. CEUs issued. $940 includes $810 fee.   NOTE: Must be 18 or older and possess a valid U.S. driver's license to enroll. Includes textbooks and instruction. Students must meet with program manager prior to registration. Call 410-777-1163 to make an appointment.

Learner Outcomes

Perform pre, post and enroute inspections; Apply best practices to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in various road conditions; Demonstrate proficiency of commercial motor vehicle controls and behavior, and maneuvering of a class B vehicle on the closed range; Reinforce driving skills of a class B vehicle on the road with other drivers; Complete Maryland state exam for commercial Class B licensure.
