Course Description
Spanish Literature | Read and discuss the main idea, theme, author and cultural relevance from a selected Spanish novel. Prerequisite: LAN-373: Intermediate Spanish 2, LGA-394: Advanced Spanish or LGE-969: Intermediate Spanish is recommended, or instructor permission. $183 includes $10 fee. Note: Class will be conducted in Spanish. Book selection will be emailed to the students via AACC email.Learner Outcomes
Read the Spanish version of a selected novel and demonstrate comprehension by stating three key plots of the novel through classroom discussion with full Spanish immersion; Identify and practice 10 new vocabulary words or phrases found in the selected reading; Construct new grammar structures by examining five phrases specific to the Spanish literature piece; List three cultural references found in the selected Spanish novel; Practice Spanish Language skills by discussing the main idea, plot, significance and theme of the story.Loading...
