Course Description

Blueprint Reading for Welders | Learn blueprint reading for welders. Review measurements, lines and views. Examine basic joints, special welds and structural shapes. CEUs issued. $615 includes $539 fee. Note: Must be 18 or older to enroll. Denim jeans, long-sleeve cotton shirt and hard-toe boots must be worn in class.  Note: Sections of this course will follow Earlbecks closure schedule, not AACCs. Classes meet at Earlbeck Gases and Technologies.

Learner Outcomes

Interpret AWS Weld and Welding Symbols; Demonstrate knowledge of Drawing Lines and Views; Identify of Structural Shapes; Demonstrate knowledge of basic joints, material specifications, Tolerances and additional general blueprint related knowledge.
