Course Description

Fun with Flowers: Teatime Blooms | Celebrate National Hot Tea Month by creating a cozy floral arrangement inside a teacup while discussing the floral elements that can be incorporated into your next tea party! Learn construction techniques and loss prevention in a fun, relaxing atmosphere. $78 includes $45 fee. Note: If you cannot attend, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate the ability to incorporate seasonal flowers into floral design; Identify edible florals to incorporate into brewed tea; Create special effects using accessories to enhance fresh flower arrangements; Analyze the design style, flower selection, and arrangement placement to determine the best construction mechanic to utilize; Describe techniques for optimal display life of a floral arrangement.
