Historical Interplay of Art, Technology and Science | Explore the interrelationship of art with science and technology through history, showing how technological developments have changed art. Focus on the visual arts, specifically on painting. $33 includes $32 fee. Note: Requires membership in Peer Learning Partnership (PLP). Biannual membership is $30.

Learner Outcomes

Identify the connections between the realms of science, technology, and art; Explore visual art in terms of how it was made, why it was made, and the way it was made; Recognize the changes in the definition of art, technology, and science throughout history; Interpret the evolution of visual art as a response to advancements in technology and science, in addition to other factors.
