Special Topics in Genealogy | Explore artificial intelligence, DNA, land records and European immigration. $23 includes $22 fee. Note: Geared toward genealogists pursuing family research. Requires membership in Peer Learning Partnership (PLP). Biannual membership is $30.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate the effective use of genealogical resources to trace ancestry; Explore additional resources to trace their ancestors both in the US and Europe that are not covered in depth in the introductory course; Evaluate and integrate multiple genealogical research sources—including AI, DNA, land records, and immigrant records—into a comprehensive research plan.
