Course Description
Pre-Apprenticeship HVAC Training Part A | Learn entry-level HVAC skills. Discover job site safety concepts. Learn the proper hand tools for each job. Understand algebra and geometry calculations for HVAC installation. Participate in hands-on lab activities. Participate in industry standard safety training including, OSHA-30 General Construction, EPA Section 608 Refrigerant, and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Certifications. CEUs issued. $1,728 includes $528 fee. Corequisites: CIT-308 Pre-Apprenticeship HVAC Training Part B and NRN-332 Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. Note: Must be 16 or older to enroll. Cost includes instruction, textbook and supplies. There is an additional cost for NRN-332 Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. This course includes online coursework and assignments completed through Canvas.Learner Outcomes
