Course Description

Beginning Italian for Senior Adults | Explore the beauty of the Italian language. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

Conjugate five common Italian verbs in the present tense and use them in short sentences; Initiate and respond to five basic conversational prompts and greetings in Italian, using complete sentences; Read short Italian passages and answer three comprehension questions, demonstrating understanding of key vocabulary and sentence structure; Present a summary on one aspect of Roman or Italian culture using at least five Italian vocabulary words.
