Course Description

Beginning Spanish: Part 2 for Senior Adults | Build upon foundational Spanish skills by strengthening grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary. Practice listening comprehension and speaking confidence through engaging small-group conversations designed for your proficiency level. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 or older by start date in order to enroll.

Learner Outcomes

Recite four examples of present tense and irregular verbs; Differentiate and explain the contrasting uses of 'estar' and 'ser'; Practice comprehension and pronunciation of level appropriate Spanish through small group conversations; Discuss the culture, traditions, and history of Puerto Rico.
