Course Description

Chesapeake Bay: Life in an Estuary | Submerge yourself in games, critters and crafts that are related to water and aquatic life in the Chesapeake Watershed. Explore forest habitats, track down the wild and green things that live around us, and investigate nature’s mysteries. $205 + includes $37 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Discuss what an estuary is and why they are important; Identify what area makes up the Chesapeake Bay estuary; Explain the types of habitats included in an estuary; Explain the importance of wetlands.

If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites. Drop forms not received within the time period required above will be processed, but no refund will be issued.
