Course Description
Estimating and Bidding 2 | Examine hands-on estimating and quantity take-off activities associated with metals, wood doors, windows, finishes, electrical and mechanical estimating. CEUs issued. $584 includes $475 fee, textbook included. Prerequisites: Introduction to Construction Estimating (STR-500) and Construction Blueprint Reading (STR-502). Note: Online, paced course. Must be 18 or older to enroll. If you cannot attend, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than 10 calendar days prior to the course start date for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in person at one of our registration sites. Prepare quantity takeoffs and conceptual estimating for structural and miscellaneous metals; Utilize conceptual estimating methods to arrive at electrical, mechanical and plumbing budgets; Prepare quantity takeoffs and estimates for rough carpentry, framing and various finishing trades; Assemble a conceptual estimate for waterproofing and roofing using blueprint quantity takeoffs.Applies Towards the Following Certificates
