Course Description

Spanish: The Slow and Easy Way to Fluency-Part 2 | Build upon the skills learned in the previous course, increase fluency and vocabulary for spoken and written speech. Acquire the fundamentals of word order in Spanish. Discover appropriate verb uses to successfully gain Spanish Language skills. $183 includes $10 fee. Prerequisite: Spanish: The Slow and Easy Way to Fluency (LAU-319) or instructor permission.

Learner Outcomes

Recite five correct uses and meanings of the verbs ser and estar in basic idiomatic expressions by the end of the course; Demonstrate the ability to conjugate and use common regular and irregular Spanish verbs in the present tense during classroom discussions and activities; Accurately articulate the names, sounds, and spelling of Spanish numbers 1-100 and use them to count, perform simple math, and tell time in Spanish by the final session; Develop foundational knowledge of the nine Spanish parts of speech and distinguish their functions from their English counterparts to communicate effectively; Identify and correctly use thirty vocabulary words related to locations, food, and telling time in both oral and written activities by the end of the course.
