Course Description

Learn safe online behavior, and basic principles and techniques of cybersecurity during this summer camp, which is designed for students at the seventh- and eighth-grade levels.

Learner Outcomes

Identify best practices for safe online behavior and establish guidelines for using online content while following copyright and ownership requirements; Design and code a web page and utilize encryption techniques to achieve data security; Examine metadata for an image Create a hidden message using steganography; Use hardware and wiring to connect to another computer for communication and data transfer.
