Course Description

Practice assigned nail technician techniques and workplace infection control precautions as needed to fulfil required program hours. Review SLN-500, SLN-501, SLN-502 and SLN-503 course content as needed to fulfil required program hours. Practice demonstrating adherence to all workplace safety precautions as needed to fulfil required program hours. Prerequisite: Must receive prior permission from the Nail Technician Program Manager to take the SLN-507 course. Corequisite: SLN-500 Nail Technician: Part 1, SLN-501 Nail Technician: Part 2, SLN-502 Nail Technician Clinical: Part 1 and SLN-503 Nail Technician Clinical: Part 2. Note: The four courses listed are intended to be taken concurrently.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate assigned nail technician techniques and workplace infection control precautions as needed to fulfil required program hours; Review and perform SLN-500, SLN-501, SLN-502 and SLN-503 course content as needed to fulfil required program hours; Demonstrate all workplace safety precautions as needed to fulfil required program hours.
