Course Description

Learning to Draw | Cover foundations and techniques for creating depth, likeness and good composition. Practice sketching with draw-along demonstrations and simple exercises. Drawing materials and magic pen will be provided. If you already draw, bring your favorite materials. $23 includes $22 fee. Note: Requires membership in Peer Learning Partnership (PLP). Biannual membership is $30.

Learner Outcomes

Explain the importance of drawing as a daily activity versus creating a picture. Differentiate between seeing and looking to enhance observation. Demonstrate sketching of objects, landscapes, and people. Identify intrinsic motivational factors that encourage additional drawing activities.
