Course Description

Canva Basics: Online Graphic Design | Explore Canvas main features and practice using the free templates to generate print designs, digital presentations, social media posts and photo slide videos. Learn to access the stock photos, videos and graphics available. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

List three main features of Canva software and practice navigating the features and editor panels on the website; Experiment with two of the free templates to generate print designs like posters, banners, stickers, invitations, and fliers; Produce digital presentations for computers and mobile devices that can be shared on a website, presented in person, online or print; Design two artful posts for social media including Facebook and Instagram; Create photo slide videos using a basic template.
